Supplemental health benefits through MetLife can give you and your family financial protection and peace of mind if something unexpected happens.

As a Parsons employee, you have three options that can help supplement your medical benefits:

  • Accident Insurance: pays money to a covered person who gets hurt in an accident and seeks medical attention (the dollar amount is based on the injury and treatment)
  • Critical Illness Insurance: provides a lump-sum cash benefit to a covered person who is diagnosed with a serious health condition covered by the plan, like heart attack, stroke or cancer
  • Hospital Insurance: pays a cash benefit when a covered person is admitted to the hospital for a covered injury, illness or childbirth

Your spouse, including your registered domestic partner, as well as your children (up to age 26) are eligible to be covered on these plans. Keep in mind that you must cover yourself, before you can cover your family.

No. If you are already enrolled and do not wish to make changes, your coverage will roll over to the following plan year. No action is needed on your part.
